Print Shop is a fully functional online printing and digital printing platform developed for a legitimate printing business. The system allows customers to purchase a wide range of printed products such as brochures, catalogs, magazines, digital prints, and customized printing services, similar to an e-commerce experience.
The platform supports multiple brochure categories including Klammergeheftet / Ringösen, Klebegebunden (Perfect Binding), and Digitaldruck (Digital Printing). Each product offers extensive configuration options such as paper type, print quantity, binding, cover type, orientation, color modes, finishing options, number of pages, production time, sample copy, climate-neutral option, and data check.
Customers can view product details without logging in, but registration is mandatory to place orders.
The primary challenges revolved around handling complex pricing, delivery, and weight calculation logic:
